Born in New York but raised in Medford, Massachusetts, Beverly Moss studied fine arts and sculpture at Boston University. Following her undergraduate degree, she spent most of her working career as a telecommunication, human resources and consulting manager in the Washington, DC area.  Behind the scenes, Beverly continued to pursue her artistic talents.  In addition to writing “Cupcake Tales” children’s stories, she creates one-of-a-kind jewelry, mixed media drawings, and dabbles in all kinds of craft projects.

Beverly has been writing creatively since high school and her series of children’s stories has taken wing over the last few years. With her rhythmic rhymes, sense of adventure and stories that engage young readers, her work appeals to children listening to bedtime stories and those able to read on their own. “My vision is to see children and adults sharing the joy of a good story and remembering those special times for years to come.”

 “What I Ate at 8:00 at Eight” is the first of Beverly’s “Cupcake Tales…short and sweet” series of books.  She’s finalizing “A Child’s Place” and “The Cloud Series”, her next set of stories.
